Course Overview
Aviation Range Solutions Ltd provides comprehensive Airside Safety Training designed to equip aviation personnel with the knowledge and skills required to operate safely and efficiently within airport operational areas. Our training aligns with international aviation standards and best practices.
This course is designed for all personnel requiring access to the airside environment, including ground handlers, ramp agents, drivers, supervisors, and contractors, screeners, and all whose job requires access to the ramp. It is important to arm them with the information that helps them guard against the hazards associated with working on the ramp.

- Module 1: Safety Philosophy - Company Safety policy and program, Employer/employee responsibilities
- Module 2: Safety Regulation - International Aviation Regulations, State Aviation Regulations, Airport Airside Regulations, Safe working practices
- Module 3: Hazards on the Ramp
- Module 4: Human Factors
- Module 5: Airside Markings and Signages
- Module 6: Emergency Situation
- Module 7: FOD Prevention Program
- Module 8: Personal Protection - PPE, Occupational Health and Safety, Musculoskeletal injury prevention, Weather exposure
- Module 9: Accidents/Incidents and Near Misses - Personnel injuries, Damage to Aircraft/GSE/facilities, Prevention, Risk assessment, Reporting, Investigation
Learning Outcomes
- Understand airside operations and safety regulations
- Identify hazards and risk management strategies
- Apply safe driving practices on the airside
- Understand aircraft movement areas and markings
- Follow communication protocols and emergency procedures
- Identify at least five (5) potential hazards on the ramp
- List ten (10) key elements of human factors
- Differentiate between various color markings and signages on the airside
- Demonstrate how to effectively use a fire extinguisher
- List five PPEs to be worn while working on the ramp
- Explain the term FOD with examples
